President Obama Includes Social Security in Stimulus Bill
President Obama recently signed the Economic Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, which provides a one-time payment of $250 to individuals who get Supplementary Security Income or Social Security benefits. Everyone entitled to a payment was expected to have received it by May 2009. Anyone who has yet to receive a check should contact the Social Security Administration.
