Susan R. Wasserman
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and educated at U.C.L.A. and Southwestern University
School of Law, Susan R. Wasserman's legal background included employment as a
Deputy Public Defender I, II, & III in Contra Costa County. She was also
an Attorney Advisor for the Social Security Administration, Office of Hearings
& Appeals in Long Beach, California. She has been a member of the
California State Bar since 1976, and New York since 1981. She opened her own
law practice in Los Angeles, California in 1981. After suffering her own
debilitating disability in 1992, she has committed her office resources to
representing the most under represented segment of society the Disabled.
James P. Shea
Received his B.A. and M.A. from Loyola University in Los Angeles. He
received a Ph.D. in English Literature from Marquette University in Milwaukee,
Wisconsin, and a Juris Doctorate from Loyola University School of Law in Los
Angeles. Mr. Shea is licensed to practice law in both California and Washington.
He formerly taught English and Business Law at both the undergraduate and
graduate level. He joined the firm as an associate attorney in 1993, and
continues to represent disabled claimants. He was formerly the Chairperson
of the Los Angeles County Bar Association's Social Security Section. He is
currently a Board Certified Social Security Disability Specialist by the
National Board of Social Security Disability Advocacy, a State Bar of
California approved agency.
Jennifer L. Cho
Jennifer Cho received a B.A. in Psychology from U.C.L.A. in 1989. She
received her Juris Doctorate from the University of West Los Angeles School
of Law in July of 1994. She worked as a paralegal in the Law Offices of Susan
R. Wasserman throughout her undergraduate and law school studies, and then
joined the firm as an associate attorney upon being admitted to the California
Bar in December, 1994.
Linh Vuong
Linh Vuong graduated from UCLA, with major in history. She graduated from Peperdine School of Law in 2004, and
was admitted to the Bar in 2005. She is committed to practicing Social Security disability law and
representing the disabled.
